Cooperating with such parties as Industrial Park Administrative Committee, Yilong Pilot Zone, Qianxinan Prefecture of Guizhou Province and the People’s Government of Zhentun Town, Guizhou Yilong Workshop was sponsored by Ruan Yisan City Heritage Protection Foundation, Union REMPART and Guizhou Nuoxitang Culture Communication Co.Ltd. Yilong workshop was officially established on Aug. 1st, 2016. Yue Jian, the general representative in Guizhou of Ruan Yisan City Heritage Protection Foundation, is in charge of the workshop and Zhang Qian works as the director of workshop. There are 71 Projects of World Heritage Protection International Volunteer’s Cooperation Camp and Guizhou Yilong workshop will be the 74th, which will be the sixth heritage protection volunteer workshop.(The first one is Shanxi Pingyao workshop.)
Volunteers from China and France will participate in the restoration of Feng’s Manor in ethnic villages, which is also the main activity of the workshop. And guided by local construction team with volunteer’s working, the restorations include restoration of the sites and reconstruction of wooden-stone architectures and so on. Meanwhile, some public activities will be held at intervals: visiting of residential buildings, the study of local Intangible Cultural Heritage crafts and the spread of Guizhou regional culture.
