阮仪三Ruan Yisan

1961年毕业于同济大学建筑系。现任同济大学建筑与城市规划学院教授、博士生导师，国家历史文化名城研究中心主任、全国历史文化名城保护专家委员会委员。法国文化部“法兰西共和国艺术与文学骑士勋章”获得者，两次获联合国教科文组织（UNESCO）遗产保护委员会颁发的亚太地区文化遗产保护杰出成就奖，2006年凭苏州平江历史街区保护再度获得UNESCO亚太地区文化遗产保护奖，2014年阮仪三教授获得美国圣母大学颁发的“亨利•霍普•里德奖”，以表彰他几十年来为保护众多中国的历史城镇与建筑所作出的突出贡献。他被誉为“都市文脉的守护者”、“古城‘卫士’”等。

Ruan Yisan, graduated from Department of Architecture of Tongji University in 1961, is the professor and Ph.D. supervisor of CAUP(Collage of Architecture and Urban Planning) at Tongji University, dean of National Famous Historical and Cultural City Research Center and committee member of National famous Historical and Cultural City Conservation Committee of Experts. He is known as “guardian of the city culture” and “guardian of Chinese ancient cities”. Ruan has been honored by France’s culture ministry as a Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters. He supervised the Yangtze River Water Towns project and the Pingjiang Historic District project of Suzhou, both of which received Asia-Pacific Heritage Awards from UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization). In 2014, he was rewarded the Henry Hope Reed Award for his contributions to the conservation of China’s ancient towns and architectures.
